David Cameron wants us to think that everyone agrees with his plan to scrap the Human Rights Act. But only 24% of us actually voted for his government.
Unbelievably, he’s trying to abolish the law which gives us the right not to be tortured, the right to a fair trial and the right to an education. It allows any of us to hold public institutions like the police, prisons, and councils, to account. Scrapping this law isn’t what most of us signed up for.
People power got us these rights. If we don’t speak up again now, the government could destroy them.
why would he disappear? because at least one person speaks up after that appalling election result? the english people as a race are despicable. Can't even see the wood for the trees.

He's not abolishing the law just replacing it with a bill of rights so that there is no more ridiculous abuse of it from criminals and lawyers.
We don't need it anyway..we're not living in Saudi Arabia you know..
Poor Tony still upset that his outrageous benefits earnings of £26,000 a year will be cut by £3k..things are changing for the better..unlucky scroungers

LOL. Yes, and the citizens here are so terrified of the power of the overbearing state that they are relaxed enough to groom and rape sexually-underaged white girls on an industrial scale in umpteen UK towns, and commit Female Genital Mutilation with impunity for decades on an even bigger scale. Meanwhile those in authority, whether it's the local council or the police do their best to turn a blind eye to the horrendous problem, ably assisted by the cowardly Liberal Media.
It certainly won't be easy to get rid of the HRA, but that's purely because of the vested financial interests at stake, and not the "rights" of the population. Believe it or not, people did get fair trials and an education before the HRA existed.
