In December 2012, I went on one of those Olympic Guided Walk type things in London, starting off at a Tube station (possibly Bromley-by-Bow ???) and ending up at the Westfield Shopping Centre, Stratford.

There were 3 other people on the walk. One bloke from Latvia (who proudly told us that his country had won Golds in BMX Cycling that summer), and a young couple from Paraguay (they were so pleased I knew their country's football kit).

I'm assuming that our walk took us though the mean streets of New Ham or whatever it's called, but I don't have the specialised local knowledge of say, The Jester From Chester.

Can any reader beat that?

Jack Dee might.

Speaking of his escape from the Big Brother House at night, after a short walk he found himself in Stratford, and upon seeing his surrondings and some of the late night locals hanging round, he promptly legged it back to the BB House.
