In December 2012, I went on one of those Olympic Guided Walk type things in London, starting off at a Tube station (possibly Bromley-by-Bow ???) and ending up at the Westfield Shopping Centre, Stratford.
There were 3 other people on the walk. One bloke from Latvia (who proudly told us that his country had won Golds in BMX Cycling that summer), and a young couple from Paraguay (they were so pleased I knew their country's football kit). I'm assuming that our walk took us though the mean streets of New Ham or whatever it's called, but I don't have the specialised local knowledge of say, The Jester From Chester. Can any reader beat that? |
