That's already been answered Ramruna. Labour MP's wanted David. The rank and file members wanted David. He was the towering political figure in the Labour movement in 2010. They even wanted him to knife Brown in the back prior to that election. His problem was that he wasn't left wing enough for the unions and so they foisted Ed onto the party and they burned horrendously. I hope the unions do it again this time round although Milliband may not be the man for 2020 as he will then be a decade late.

Apart from a few crusties on here and in the country the left is dead. One of the notable features of listening to the returns was all the wierdo beardy left wing fools with their silly titles getting four votes and looking aghast. Dead, dead, dead.
