Laugh calm down.......Apologies but this blokes influence/ air time are now beyound a joke. Only last week he was saying he wanted a revolution but not sure what kind, ffs. |
By:
After the obscene messages to Andrew Sachs given out on air on Radio 2, I wonder how anyone, let alone a candidate for PM, can even bring themselves to speak to him let alone take him seriously.

The yoof respec' him, innit.... sadly.

18 year old spotty oiks were 11 when Brand did this.

I don't like Brand but I have to agree with him on this. Establishment Cameron called him a joke for this debate with establishment Miliband. What better way to get back at wker Cameron.
By:
^^^ FAIR POINT RAISED BUT HAS THE FUTURE OF OUR CONTRY COME DOWN TO BRAND!
By:
I can't imagine having Brand's endorsement does the Labour cause any favours.
By:
The future of our country is already in the hands of those who put their own personal interests in front of your interests, Clegg is the blatant example of this. Cameron and Miliband are not far behind.

I can't imagine having Brand's endorsement does the Labour cause any favours. It will have done. As will Steve Coogan's broadcast |
By:
Steve Coogan, perhaps, but not Russell Brand in my view. For every vote he garners, two will be lost by folk who cannot associate themselves with his sort of character at any cost.
By:
The cliché that is rolled out, like most establishment clichés like wasted votes for other parties etc, that is never true. They earn what they do because of their political position, often through morally reprehensive actions, all self-interest. They couldn't earn what they do in the private sector, else giving their self-serving personalities, they would be doing. A Politics degree is about as difficult as a Media Studies degree, yet we will have a 20 yo MP pre-graduating politics degree within the week.
By:
Steve Coogan is an intelligent and erudite man, Brand is a vacuous attention-seeker.
By:
Who on earth would be dumb enough to take political guidance from Brand, and why on earth have the London Media placed him centre stage in this election period? He is a political non-entity.
By:
C4 news earlier had the Labour candidate for the seat Farage is contesting, he's just 25 and seemed proud of his politics degree. I've not looked but who would be surprised if he's been a researcher for a quango or MP since then and never even attempted a real job.. still, he's no doubt smarter and a better choice than the classy 20 yr old headbutt girl, words fail me there.
By:
I wouldn't be surprised if Conservative HQ stage-managed Brand's endorsement of the Labour party.
By:
"Steve Coogan is an intelligent and erudite man, Brand is a vacuous attention-seeker."
Actually I'll give you that. Although Coogan was on Question Time, I'd really liked him or at least his characters, but I seem to remember he came across as a bit of an ars*hole . |

Sadly, JC, being an **** and intelligent are not always mutually exclusive.

I thought Brand was touting the Greens last week?
By:
Nope

By:
now that Katie Hopkins is a massive vote winner
![]() even if she says things that a lot of us agree with she is truly vile person and a masive negative! |
By:
I thought I'd read somthing about it:
Russell Brand has revised his anti-voting stance and called for people living in Brighton to vote for Caroline Lucas of the Green Party. |
By:
A song on Ed's Ipod, plays it when thinking about Brand. "Hope You're Feelin' Me (Like I'm Feelin' You)"
No one could hold me no one could control me but now my future is up to you Your lovin' can shape me make me or break me Oh I hope you're feelin' me like I'm feelin' you. ![]() ![]() |
By:
Brand has his own Trews videos on YouTube. He has sided with Labour. Previous interview with Greens he liked the policies, but acknowledged they couldn't get the seats.
So in summing up in his video he says Vote Green in Brighton, but everywhere else - Labour. |

We are underwhelmed by yet another dickhe@d and Coogan endorsing the Labour party who seem to believe this is to their advantage ? Is this just another appeal to the working classes to rise up and smite the rich.............like Brand, etc ? Bizarre, druggies support Labour sounds attractive ?

04 May 15 19:33 18 year old spotty oiks were 11 when Brand did this. . http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Russell_Brand_Show_prank_telephone_calls_row What a shame we can't get back to 2008 archives to see what Facts posted after this Brand and Ross episode. I'd say 1.01 it was 'puerile.' Yet here he is supporting the stupid c*nt. |

Do you think Coogan and Brand are an asset to Labour tonks ?
