OK here is my final gambit. 80/150 on Murphy, that's a done deal.

Don't get my cold weather payment for 6 months.
I boosted my 2/5 to 4/9 Slippy, you nitpicker. |

Goodness me, you are hard work

Stick it on Betfair, you get 1.52!

By:
You can't always arb, sometimes you have to take a view old stick.
By:
Less the rake you giving me 1/2 is about the same. Am I on?
By:
I only have the odd bet Slippy. Had about 25 years of really heavy losses including the sodding casinos and have managed to claw it all back on here since 2002. My income is poor as I left work at 47 so I have to arb, and it works well.Plus I have 3 cats (£200 a month) so after 25 years of taking a view and suffering for it, I only occasionally do these days.

Cracking match and well done Bingham. Murphy should secure his second world title now though.

My dogs vet bill is £8,600 and rising
. You wriggling again kenny mann?![]() |
By:
Murphy will completely destroy Bingham crags, I'm just haggling with kenny mann over a price. I don't even want the money, he can give my winnings to St. Chistopher's Hospice.
By:
If I can give it to West Yorkshire Cat Rescue, or maybe half of it, you're on.
By:
I tried getting a bet on with kenny once, he didn't want to know - but that's his prerogative. I was also was the first one to label him as a filthy arber

You will of course get a receipt.

Arbing is great crags, and requires skill and arithmetical prowess. Not surprised more don't do it.
By:
Right, 100 to St Christopher's Hospice if Murphy wins and I'll donate 200 to West Yorkshire Cat Rescue if Bingham wins. Done deal.
By:
I agree kenny, but it doesn't suit natural gamblers, unfortunately

Just remind me of the bet, Slippy. £200 on Murphy at what price? |
By:
No I'm not accepting that. I donate £50 a month to charity as it is.

No bet. Must do book-keeping now.
By:
Goodnight G and J. Probably best to scrap your bet and just enjoy the final over the next two days. Give to your chosen charities as and when you both want to without broadcasting it. IMHO

He's been waiting a long time for this, I doubt he will crumble under the pressure, if he's outplayed then all well & good.

Bingham in the balls, Murphy will completely destroy him if he makes the final Er......nope !! ![]() |

Facts, if you don't mind me saying, that's a bit ungracious. We can all be wise after the event. I personally was delighted for Bingham, and Thought Shaun carried himself remarkably well, given that everyone had him across the line before the match even started.
In events where your game is affected by your opponents play, It's never easy to call. |
By:
Thought he would win, sadly I don't bet on snooker, but a nice story & I do love an underdog.

Not trying to be ungracious. Merely pointing out the fact if someone posts a comment like ' will completely destroy him ' does somewhat set one up for ridicule in the event it doesn't happen. Snooker at this level is very good and was delighted to see Bingham win. |
By:
No problem Facts, yep I got that wrong and although plenty of chances to level things out I ended up losing. Oh well, them's the break I guess.
No big deal in the greater scheme of things and I actually wanted Bingham to win in the end. I made a bad call on a snooker match, it's not something that particularly concerns me a great deal to be honest Facts. |
By:
Quite right Slippy, In the scheme of things it's nothing. I was only joshing with you

I know Facts no worries, we know each other far too well over the many years to get overly concerned. Not a problem whatsoever.
est I'm giving up challenging kenny mann to a punt to be honest, the wriggling OAP arber won't take me on unless there is a few safe sovs in the kitty for him. Gadzooks, I'm not as silly as I look you know ![]() |
