Africa is overpopulated, they don't have resources and jobs, but
here in Europe we can not accept them. They should solve their own problems instead of trying to cross the sea to enter inside European Union. |

British or german people go to Spain or Italy to enjoy the sun and portuguese or greeks go to the UK to work. It has been like this the last 60 or 70 years. The problem is: we can not accept immigrants from countries that don't have our culture and values. People from Latin America, Africa or the Middle East. |

The EU has been accused of “cynically exploiting” the migrant crisis in the Mediterranean to further it’s dreams of European integration. letter from the council offering her and her kids a brand new 3 bed house (approx value £450-£500k) for £156 a week (paid for from housing benefit). On the letter offering her the place it said a translator would be present to help show her around the property. Hard working families couldn't afford to live in that house. I really despair sometimes.  |

The going rate for a translator was £36 an hour about 4 years ago. |

find this odd if true. 90 days in a country and you have to declare resident status....some will fine you if you ever get stopped for your id. there is 2 instant problems as stop n search is frowned up here because minorites complained and revolted.... the other being here in the uk we dont like red tape.....where as in other countries you try getting services without a resident cert ...some you may be able to wing it but others you wouldnt. we moan about other countries red tape and now its well and truly come back to bite us.....maybe we need to create plenty of civil servants jobs to make sure immigration is controlled properly.... |

5live report this morning on the people "rescued" over the weekend off Libya mentioned that one of the first on the navy boat was a 6 month old baby with her pregnant mother.Wherever they end up hope the children end up with good jobs so that in 20 years time or politicians can claim them in the "net contributors" bracket

crudely - the view in many countries was to have lots to work on the land - very similar to the attitude held, eons ago in Ireland.

So she must have known they wouldn't get work on the fields or herself any work. So why continue to have kids when you have no means of supporting them. Totally irresponsible. Then expect other countries to foot the bill. |

instead of giving money and aid to these countries we should just provide contraception.
Pills and condoms. Then when they have shown some level of responsibility then go about trying to help the economy so they can become self sufficient. |
