He said, "come in, I'm having a Pop Tart for breakfast".

Imagine my surprise when I saw Claire Grogan sitting in his kitchen.

Did the "imagine my surprise" bit give it away?

The thing that revealed that they weren't genuine communications was that often, one "correspondent" would refer to another letter in the same issue. Plain

Apologies to the Scottish contingent.Blush

In London, "tart" is a term of endearment, don't you know

Well we refer to Nicola as that Fn wee tart and I can assure that there is no endearment implied. Laugh
But we accept your explanation so the invasion has been cancelled.

I was on a British Airways flight, I can't recall where I was going off hand and Clare Grogan was on board as well and she was completely kicking off because they refused to give her a free first class upgrade. It was hilairious, she even said those immortal words, "do you know who I am?" The rest of the passengers were in fits of laughter and gave a huge cheer when she took her seat in economy. Absolutely priceless comedy it was.
