Inbuilt mouse has become unresponsive. MIND OF ITS OWN. i'M CURRENTLY USING AN OLD FASHIONED MOUSE TO WRITE THIS. .....Anyone any ideas???

Ah, it's a common problem apparently.  Probably wise just to accept you need to use a standard mouse in future, unless it's still under warranty of course.

could it be dust I got rid of a **** load yesterday - gave the thing a good clean up could dust have built up underneath the mouse? If so how do you go about shifting it :)

I don't know, sir, I'm afraid.  I had the exact same problem and was advised to just be content that a normal mouse worked, the cost of a repair being not much less than the value of the laptop!

tried that, it failed. I think its dust underneath the mouse, bought some Air Spray to try and blast it out. Will keep you informed Plain
