Anyone else get bombarded with these ?
I've blocked their number umpteen times. Makes no difference cos they always use a different number. I've got more than a dozen different numbers from them in the last few months alone. And I found their opt-out page on their website where you're supposed to submit your number to be taken off their list. Another waste of time. Actually think that's a marketing gimmick to collect more numbers.

otherwise will threaten to report them to trading standards for making people use a premium rate text number to opt out of a service we werent warned about or given the option of opting in or not too spanm texts
will also claim for emptional distress at receiving spam texts

Have ordered ten pizzas for a 'party' to be delivered round to a lad at school's house once. Don't think the pizza lad or him were very impressed. Imagine for a large order now you have to pay up front?
Another time back in the day me and a mate at school collected loads of the Sunday magazines with all the 'buy now, pay later' horrid trinkets they sell.
Cut out all the coupons and got them all sent to a chap in our class. Utter tat it was - those horrid plates with the queen on, shyte music boxes, musical figurines, everything.
His dad went mental, got police involved, demanded all the forms to check them. We were bricking it, fortunately they didn't recognise the handwriting.

Many years ago I sent off a form out of the paper to the Army Information Office for my best mate.
So they sent him a request to drop into his local office.

Perhaps when I was in mid teens, someone sent me a letter, on very official looking paper, that I had been appointed as a "Fire Warden".
It detailed all the equipment I had to carry and how. e.g. a bucket of water in the left hand, a ladder over the right shoulder,
a "styrup pump" and hosepipe, a bucket of sand etc, etc.
I was dreading the embarrassment, until it slowly sank in that it was a joke!
