I'm thinking of getting a small hand held steam cleaner to clean the bathroom and kitchen tiles. Are they worth getting or not and can anyone recommend a decent one please

I have a hand held one and its pathetic, so I would imagine that they all are. They just don't generate enough steam
and you have to wait for them to get up to pressure again.

I don't think you will find anything decent below £100.00 and most of them only do floor cleaning.

I have a "Karcher" SC 2.500 C, which is brilliant for all tasks, but  I think I paid nearly £160.00 for it.

Give me your address and you can have my hand held one. I'll send it to you on my new drone.

Just had a look at the "Karcher" SC 2.500 C and it looks great for the job but with no floors to clean it seems a lot of money for what I need it for.

Spray-bottle of white vinegar from Wilkinson's (£1). Acetic acid actually kills mould, and also peels away grime. Old toothbrush and/or nailbrush for stubborn bits.

Wouldn't steam just condense on the tiles, feeding the mould and encouraging it to grow back?
