"Jaffa Cakes" are, like most things, a pathetic semblance of how they were.
Time was, when the filling covered the whole of the cake, rather than just a token blob.

Crisps and nuts are my Waterloo, I don't have a sweet tooth in any way whatsoever but I could easily put a few bags of pistachios away whilst watching the racing of an afternoon and chugging a few cold ones. In fact, that is exactly what I'm going to do this afternoon.
