A fitting appointment indeed.

I'm sure that this ex-footballer will bring a huge amount of relevant experience and knowledge of the Property and Auction businesses to add some much-needed depth and gravitas to this programme.

In other news, I'm hoping that when the next "Songs of Praise" presenting job comes up for grabs, the BBC will make a similarly sound appointment, giving the job to a person who would be a seamless fit. If I could put a few names in the frame, I'd like to suggest Marlon King if he's interested. A safe pair of hands if ever there was. Failing that, surely Joey Barton would be an appropriate choice?

I remember ITV's religious programme Stars on Sunday, presented by Jess Yates who got to be known as 'The Bishop'.
Reputed to have said about women that he liked them, 'blonde busty and thick.''

Of course that would have made him too straight a bloke for the BBC to present their God spot.
A complete non starter.

Great news this. I've only recently had £2 on Yasmin Alibhai-Brown replacing Jeremy Clarkson in the next series of Top Gear.

HH you should have had a double with Mo Farrah replacing Richard,He is the same size and Mohammed is nearly the same as Richards surname. That is if the British instution that is Mo can get here from his tax exile in America.

The Black Guy they should get is the one that has been on the show
as a buyer at least 3 times. He acts on behalf of rich clients looking
for an investment property in London. Invariably spends £30k or so  on a flat
costing ten times that and gets it re-valued at around  £100k more.
