I have also said I do not think that Amanda Knox's guilt had been proved, and I decried the prosecution appeal

can you expand on that Cobblaz...

No, not without jeopardizing my partner's current situation. And, no, I am NOT a woman.

Stating that women are ALWAYS believed in criminal cases is an utterance deserving of contempt, based on my experience.

Sufficient to state that my partner is currently doing time BECAUSE she wasn't believed. And she is 100% innocent of the crime for which she was sent down. And, to add insult to injury, one of those who WAS guilty of the crime that my partner was sent down for is now in the same prison alongside her.

It seems I have expanded on it... oh, well.

Let's finish by saying that I have utter contempt for the legal system that is more interested in playing a game than discovering the truth. And as for the North Yorkshire Police, don't get me revved up any more...

Are the British Press going to appeal this decision by Italy's highest court?

It's just our squalid Press has been absolutely ridiculously desperate to paint The Foxy One as some kind of devious (but glamorous) femme fatale who uses sex and charm as her deadliest weapons. They've not even bothered to shed their usual crocodile tears for the victim of the crimes, of which Miss Knox has rightfully been cleared.

Choke on it, vermin.

There is nothing worse than being convicted of something one hasn`t done. Mrs Cobblaz has my sympathy.

In the Knox case only they know the truth, but the Italian legal system has come out of it a laughing stock and the victim, poor Miss Kercher, has been over looked, it`s all about Knox. If Foxy was a fat ugly bird, I wonder if views would remain the same?

Perhaps I was a bit strong in saying ALWAYS so apologies CobblazBlush

But I do see a bias

One recent case in particular angered me, not only was the man wrongfully convicted.

But he is now imprisoned in the country for life, his life and career have been destroyed

This is completely excessive, once your punishment is over that is it

This has only been done for the benefit of women, there is no justice in it at all

It is pure vindictiveness nothing else

Thank you. mightymac, and apology accepted ebulgery. I can't go into any more detail just now, because my partner still has 5 months to serve before she is released on tag, and then a further 2 years on parole. Maybe if we are all still here at the end of 2017, I shall say more. You just never know who is looking in on these forums, and I certainly don't trust the justice system to not be vindictive towards my better half should it get back to them.

I'll end by saying this: if any of you work in an office environment where you are connected to a network, for Christ's sake don't be so naiive as to trust your co-workers. ALWAYS log off, or at least lock your terminal, whenever you are away from it. Not doing so has cost my partner a 42 months custodial sentence and the thick end of £100,000.
