That chit chatters probably pass each other in the street every day without knowing it? Posters that one would like to buy a pint or posters one would like to thump Wouldn`t it be a great idea for chit chatters to wear a badge with CC on it so that we could introduce ourselves to each other Mind you, in real life, one would probably not give the time of day to some of the characters on here.
I've often wondered that myself. It's surprising though how many gamblers don't bet, or even know what Betfair is. Plus when you see how many people are viewing the forum then the odds are pretty slim on people passing in the street. Living in the same town/county might be as close as you get!

I don't.
I live in a cul-de-sac and rarely walk anywhere.

I've often thought similar , but from the opposite angle Mac
If we were to meet in a pub or social gathering together mixed with a large number of chit chatters , all unknown to each other , do you think you'd still end up chatting & getting friendly with the same like minded people that you chat to & like on here

Do you think if you put 20 chit chatters in a room and put their nom de plumes up on a black board, you could match them?
It`s a bit like speaking to someone on the phone that you have never met, you draw a mental picture of them in your mind and when you actually meet them they are nothing like what you thought.
