Atheists dont have much history, they can glance over in awe and wonder at the theist history though

not if it threatens the doctrine, occasionally some buildings may be left but will be repurposed and have most historical meaning erased from them, and of course any traditions and adherents will be also erased, as in most atheist states such as china, ussr, or briefly spain

Of course it's something of a myth the terror resulted from the 36 coup as the terror had begun years earlier, though the coup was probably partly in response to the terror.

And, as an atheist, I will appreciate history and architecture whether it was made by Christians, Muslim, HIndus, Pagans or whoever.  Thanks.

I challenge anyone not to be in awe, standing in a great cathedral such as St Paul's or that Catholic one in Rome.  Hardly surprising that people used to believe in that stuff in the old days.
