Lady Isobel Shoplifter famously electrocuted herself in the bath rather than be victimised by Queen Bee in HMP Clitclink.

She did clough...but people treated her as if she had done the murders herself, I thought that was wrong

If one cares for someone, one does not automatically think they have just murdered two kids surely????????

That does not seem like human nature to me, still she was punished

it's a lot easier to think that than to believe that he accidentally killed them both one after the other , his defence in court , which is presumably what he told her

If ,before the scandal became public , you'd have shown 100 people in the street a photo of her , how many would have recognised her Confused

I'm not 100% but I'm fairly confident he didn't tell her he'd killed them, be it accidentally or otherwise, when she provided an alibi for him.

As for Haigh, I did say 'might' - we're on a betting site after all.

yeah you are right

he just told her they'd knocked on the door and went away and then asked her to tell a pack of lies that she was there as well

should have rung alarm bells but expect she was just rather thick

Here's a "role model for young women" who inexplicably managed to avoid a prison sentence, despite pleading guilty to striking a police officer while in custody, and "a public order offence" for good measure.

Who would have thought that "an outspoken voice against poverty, drugs, gun crime and the Iraq War" could have behaved in such a socially irresponsible fashion? Say it ain't so Joe. It must have been a big silly old misunderstanding, right?

Soft Babylon bizarrely chose to give her a ridiculous Community Service non-punishment.
