Seen this once. Irish vet on it did some amazing work on a broken leg.

Platini, Noel is the Irish vet. Muttley is at Fitzpatrick's Referrals right now having chemotherapy.

Came across very well I have to say from what I saw.

But does he charge "super" fees as well?  Wink

7 grand so far, Muttley is insured though. The initial MRI scan was £2.5K Shocked Doesn't matter what the cost is though, I want my Muttley back home end of story.

I once watched Rolfs animal hospital, that ended badly.

Yep, 7 grand and still counting...Today's chemo is another monkey.

He has to stay overnight so bed and breakfast is another £150. He hasn't cost me a bean though so far to be honest, he was heavily insured.

@ SlippyBlue - Muttley is one lucky fella, mate  Happy

I changed vets recently and am well happy with the new one. She is Irish too. Have paid a fair bit over the years on our dog (nothing like your 7K though Slippy) but what can ya do, they become part of the family and no way will I let her suffer when there is medicine out there to relieve the pain. 7k though...ouch!

Sorry to make a joke Slippy, hope all ends well.

No worries blackesknight, Muttley takes a lot of my time up but he is part of the family so what needs to be done will be done. He's still very wobbly in his hind legs but has taken to his swimming well and is building up strength in his hind legs which were very skinny after lack of movement after his spinal infection. He is only 3 so has youth on his side to fight back.

Not a star cooperman but thank you for that, Muttley pi$$ed all over me when I carried him to the park today wwith his highly toxic emissions! Have had a tough time recently losing my Mum so have to look after him as best that I can to keep me vaguely sane. The trip to Godalming does me in though, I hate the A3.Sad
