After reading that ... I'd develop a cunning plan.
if I were to be stuck in a Texas jail, about to be executed, I'd quickly dig a tunnel and surreptiously get my wife to bring in a nice plate of the M&S tinned steak, chips and peas.
and I'd be a bit naughty and have a chilled Bud.
That would really annoy them.

Bowl full of freshly steamed cockles with a splash of vinegar, maybe followed by some Sushi.
For some of us our last meal may be the one we have just eaten.Sobering thought really.
Can smokers have a cigarette after their last meal?... or would that be refused because it's harmful to their health?

Surprised that some of the despots on here haven't suggested a "Fray Bentos" pie, with the seemingly de rigueur chips and peas/beans.
