And that's the reason this country is going downhill.  Today's youths are just woolly thinkers!
That's better. CU

so, the full LOL is required at the end of the statement to avoid confusion with other popular acronyms such as LOA (Laurence of Arabia), and ROL (Robin of Loxley)

When I first flirted with BF what got me was "overs".

There were many overs markets, why was 2.5 the special market, I didn't see it immediately.

(I realise now why, people like playing with markets near even odds and that's about it for footbawwwwwl)

Not actually a new thing.
No mobiles in the war years but SWALK and BURMA were popular.

Bad enough if restricted to mobiles as there was a reason for it initially.
Aside from speed, it was more economical, when we used to be restricted to very short messages.

What is indefensible and very galling is when the idiots use 2 instead of "to" and "too" and 4 instead of "for" and all the many others
on sites like this.

It might save them a millisecond, but makes the posts almost impossible to understand, without going over several times and, usually hindered also by
no punctuation, or capitals where required.

No wonder the idiots don't know the difference between "to" and "too"!

Before anyone has a go, I know my own punctuation leaves a bit to be desired, but I do chuck a few random commas etc at it.....Laugh
