So everyone complains that no living politician is getting named, then when one is named they say it took too long or that he will prob die before the trial. Once you knew it was an MP involved it was pretty much nailed on that it would be white tory male in a grey suit tbf. Think a few liberals have been involved. But fair play to Labour, haven't heard too many Labour MP's names bandied about in comparison.

I've no idea whether or not Harvey Proctor is guilty of those heinous crimes, but his 'put up or shut up' challenge to the Metropolitan Police seems a reasonable stance in my view. I'd also be interested to hear Chris Fay's take on Proctor's explicit denial of ever visiting the notorious Elm Guest House.

Standard issue fishing expedition by the police. It is unlikely they will find any evidence from the 1980s (or the 1950s when they searched Cliff's gaff).
