soya flour in all your doughy bread was originally a by product with no use. It was taken up by cardboard manufacturers in the making of cardboard? It then jumped to an animal feed. But more money must be made so we are now eating this ingredient. Please google all this as your life is in danger? maybe. Soya is in a list of allergens. At the back of the wrappers the bread comes in usually in bold it lists wheat, nuts and soya as the main allergens within bread. soya flour causes intestinal bleeding. You might feel cramping and think - my IBS is flaring up? or my Gluten intolerance is at it again? More likely soya flour the new kid on the block is stabbing your guts. Anyway the bread is cheaper by 5p - applaud the food guru who thought up this crap.

Where is the evidence to say that soya causes IBS or any other problems?
I drink soya milk every day and I don't get any symptoms.

I thought stuff like wheat, milk, nuts and chocolate were more likely candidates to cause problems than soya.

still shouldnt change bread's ingredients without telling shoppers what has changed.

same goes for other foods.

something needs to be done imo.

i cant drink certain beers....peroni heineken to name 2...they cause my guts to go mental.
certain breads arent too clever either.
i have to find the ones which agree with me and then stick with them....so any changes in ingredients are a big no no.

Bread is the devil's work anyway. Stopped eating it 6 months ago, and I've lost over a stone and gone down a waist size.

Bread is traditionally made with flour water and yeast. Why do we have all those other ingredients in the bread we buy?

It's amazing how many people still suffer from these diet related illnesses when the cures were found decades ago.

Nevertheless the reason is simple. Medicine is in control of the drug companies.
They stay in business by selling drugs not curing people.

There are loads of studies about the negative effects of soya. Here's just one on bladder cancer in humans:
.
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/12496060

For balance there's plenty of claims about the benefits, but I think it is interesting that the FDA turned down an application by a company called Solae to allow its soya protein to be labelled a health food:

In its petition to the FDA, Solae contended that a qualified health claim was warranted because of “substantial scientific agreement” among experts that soy protein reduces the risk of breast, prostate and colon cancers. “No such consensus exists,” says Dr. Daniel. “Scientists at the FDA’s own Center for Toxicological Research have warned of soy protein’s carcinogenic potential and of the health dangers of excess soy-food consumption. We showed the FDA that Solae was highly selective in its choice of evidence and biased in its interpretations. We reported on the fact that they had omitted many studies proving soy to be ineffective in preventing cancer, emphasized favorable outcomes in studies with mixed results and excused the results of the few unfavorable studies that they included to give the illusion of balance. Most importantly, we drew the FDA’s attention to the fact that Solae excluded many studies showing that soy protein can cause and accelerate the growth of cancer, particularly breast cancer.”

and or.....

companies constantly seek to find to cut costs or and or improve the saleability fo their products by adding ingredients not previously in foods and drinks.

hence why sh1t like fructose syrup is added to some beers.
these companies meet little or no resistance as to what they are introducing onto the food chain which is f*****g scandalous imo
