A little pinkie, gets browner with age. Think Brand once did a thing where he phoned his Dad and got him to pick a paint colour from a chart that most resemble the colour of his Hampton, the hypothesis being that they get darker with age.

My daughter's was metallic gold and with alloy wheels (never saw another one with alloys)!

There used to be a smaller version of the Chopper called the Chipper. I can imagine that a good percentage of CCers were/are still Chipper men rather than Chopper owners. Right?

I can remember the war between chopper owners and the new grifter owners, basically the chopper owners went from having the coolest bikes, to been bang out of fashion with the arrival of the grifter with its handle bar gear system.
