I understand it was a group of youngsters that were attacked.  Why aren't the police putting out descriptions. Don't try to tell me the survivors didn't see the three men that attacked them!!!

We have been here many times before mobo.......i think we all know the reason why no descriptions are forthcoming.

Why is it cowardly scum are the only ones allowed to carry knives while law abiding every day citizens concerned for their own welfare are not? And before anyone says they are not allowed to carry knives-THEY ARE DOING IT AND GETTING AWAY WITH IT, so it clearly is allowed!

Nothing to do with turf wars......they just outnumber and intimidate who they perceive as weaker and steal their belongings . Been happening for ages in London . Know a couple of women who had their bikes stolen in a similar manner. Two of them mistakenly tried to nick my mates bike . He battered the first one who put his hands on the bike and then rode after the other but couldn't catch him......they are cowards , hope they catch them and they get life...

The law states that people are allowed to defend themselves with EQUAL force. If there is more of a danger of being knifed by a s****, then normal law abiding members of the public should be able to carry knives.

Mr Dude- you are wrong. The Law in the UK permits defence using equal force! If someone breaks into your house and attacks you with a knife you are permitted to defend yourself with a knife. You are not expected to present yourself to the burglar so he can kill you.

It was originally by 3 men, now it's 3 youths.

Check the law on Self defence Slicer. There is no such thing as equal force in relation to self defence in the UK. It is reasonable force that is a requirement of self defence which is very much different from equal force.

No jury will convict if you use equal force because equal force is reasonable force! It is unreasonable to use a knife against an unarmed.  But perfectly reasonable to defend with a knife against a knife.  The attacked have human rights as well you know!

What I meant was, if you are attacked by a man with a knife and you shoot him with a gun, that is not likely to be regarded as reasonable force. To opine on the question of using a gun when attacked by a man with a knife, if someone is threatening to kill you and you have not had a reasonable amount of training in the gradations of the options available, it's reasonable in my view to kill them.
Of course it would probably need a jury to decide.

All I know is that if I am attacked by someone with a knife, my first thought will NOT be will the jury convict me if I defend myself! I would defend myself with any means at my disposal and my intention would be to eliminate my assailant with extreme prejudice!

I see 2 suspects are being held in relation to the murder. If found guilty wouldn't it be nice if they could be given life sentences which meant until their death. More likely they will be released with plenty of time to father the next generation of angry feral scum.
