Green party leader talking on LBC about housing policy.

It's jaw dropping incompetence. I've never heard anything like it.

Absolutely staggering incompetence.

I heard her this morning as it happened on LBC - didn't know there was a camera in there. It was painful.

Apparently, she also had a wobble on Radio 4 but nothing on the scale of the disaster on Nick Ferrari's show.

when they asked malcolm rifkind about social housing, he said he often comes down from the penthouse to watch telly with the family.

Wasnt gonna vote for them anyway but if shes that bad at interviews and they stick with her then she must be absolutely fkin brilliant at some other aspect of politics.

Id certainly take much more of an interest in pmqs if she was at the plate

It's a bit like UKIP. The very foundation of the party is formed on a specific principle that inevitably overshadows the more generic matters that concern the population at large.

There was a snippet on the news about an event after that interview where the Green Party were promoting their manifesto.
The chairwoman looked even worse as did her predecessor. Laugh

The Greens are a comedy party and it shows how stupid Cameron was trying to get them on the TV debates given they look set to get a lot of ex Labour votes.

Anyone who seriously contemplates voting them needs to research them as they are a long way away from just an environment friendly party. Some of it is very sinister.

The people who are likely to vote for the greens won't be bothered about costings & detailed manifestos, they're voting for an aspiration, an ideal.Their problem will be 10 yrs down the line should they continue to grow.As the limp dems found out over here & syriza are finding out in Greece its easier to throw bombs from the sidelines & easy to make promises your never likely be asked to keep.

"The Greens" as stereotypical and misguided, ineffective individuals are, to my eyes and experience, the sort of hapless bunch who may otherwise be
(in fact may well be) the waste of space that are Social Services!

I can say this with the full experience of myself, sister, two doctors and a nursing sister sitting in an oppressive "cell" for a meeting as to which way to go forward with regards to my elder sister.

Who was late but none other than the woolly headed woman from Social Services, who came in with a briefcase, and massive pile of papers under her arm, and then had the audacity to say she didn't know anything about the case!!!!

Sorry, I rambled on a bit there! Laugh

It would be a major U-turn if a Green government retained the nuclear deterrent, Emden. Laugh

I believe their policy is to follow the clearly successful example of Ukraine, which unilaterally gave up the third biggest nuclear arsenal in the world in exchange for cast-iron guarantees on sovereignty and demarcation of borders from Britain, France, the USA and Russia.

Sounds like a vote winner to me - £72 a week for everyone regardless of income?

I'm voting GREEN.

We are the 6th richest economy after all so what's the problem.

Clearly, she is not:

- a straight A student, probably not even Ds and Es

- a promising young footballer

- loved by all who met her

What does she do in real life ... my £100 is on works in the Public Sector, probably something very important like Street Scene Advisor, or Equalities Champion, or some sort of Integration Advisor?

The figure has been fully costed as is all we can afford.

I believe it will be index linked though to rise every year.

Strange that Patrick Harvie, the Scottish Green Party leader, was overlooked for the top job.
Head and shoulders above Natelie Bennett and is always comfortable in interviews.

I'm not sure I would trust Natalie Bennett to get my order right if she served me in Burger King. How she is in charge of a political party - which is actually getting airtime - is beyond staggering.
