Friend recently got an ipad. They say they didnt set up icloud account. But seems to be asking for an apple id password. This has only happened recently. I'm not to up on ipad. I have tried deleting the account but it says you can't. Can't do anything as it keeps asking for password. Any suggestions.

think it is the same password you use when buying apps.
No apps where bought on the ipad. Very little done on it.
The problem is friend didnt set up an icloud account related to the email address. They must have as its asking for a password in that email address. An you cant do anything as it keeps popping up. No itunes account. It was only recently purchased and person who owns it not very computer savy. I don't know much about ipads but trying to fix it for them using internet. Would a factory reset work like a laptop.
One other thing is when i go into icloud account it says account not verified.
If you dont have an account then it wont back up, surely just turn off icloud backup option in settings ?
