Remanded in custody, no surprise there was no application for bail as the people of Gateshead would have him at the bottom of the Tyne wearing concrete wellies if they got hold of the monster.

Crispy, I go to Gateshead to see a few of my mates every now and then, the mugger is best off getting a prison sentence and living in solitary for a few years as he will be hunted down if he ever shows his face again in the North East.

I can see you point but his crime has been wiped out many hundreds of time by the goodness of the public...more than a good kicking could ever do in my opinion.
