There is a difference between opinion and inciting racial hatred whilst quoting nonsense as "Fact".

Holocaust denial is illegal in Germany, Austria, France and some other EU countries.

Illegal in Canada but not USA.

It's not illegal in the UK but I think it can lead to prosecution if deemed to be inciting racial hatred.

Some idiot suggested that there may have been no gas chambers. He had "watched some videos on youtube". Crazy

I don't know if that was the reason the thread was pulled.

Bit like the forum pi$$head (on another thread) quoting a renowned, hard-core anti-semitic website as his source.

That would not have been me nickLaugh, you still did not answer the question

I have continually said I am Pro Palestine NOT Anti Semitic

I would find it hard for anyone to deny the Holocaust happened, I visited Belsen when younger
I saw the photographs........man's inhumanity to man reached a new low in the Holocaust

How did we get there...sadly by small steps

Todays politics is a separate issue

You may well not be anti-semitic but you seem to have a bee in your bonnet about the ownership and control of the media.

didn't read the first thread which was pulled, but WW2 related did anyone see the documentary at the weekend re MI-19 spying on German prisoners of war?
Quite an eye opener. Proved that many wehrmacht and luftwaffe personnel were involved in executions of Jews and other civilians during Barbarossa, although Germans prefer to lay blame very much at the door of the SS. Also excellent intelligence gathered from a group of senior German officers who blabbed to each other throughout their imprisonment obviously oblivious to being bugged. Including giving away the location of a V2 emplacement.

Is Rupert Murdoch's mother Jewish?
I googled it, only one site gave me the answer, which said yes
So is it true or not?

It says on this link Rupert Murdoch's mother was an orthodox Jew
I do not know whether this is true or false

i_agree_with_nick

Jewwatch.com? Are you serious?

I have never read anything mainstream which says she was Jewish.

I have never read anything she was not either....appears a mystery?

It does matter, because I have always felt there is a bias in his media, I was looking for a cause?

My problem is not with Jews, I quite like them, it is the policy of Israel itself
and worse still what has been done for them by others, notably the West.

I believe Palestine should belong to the Palestinian Arabs, Israel has no right to exist
That is all

I do not expect the Palestinians will win....it is the principle with me

I believe Palestine should belong to the Palestinian Arabs

...and if this was the case, they would only start another war with someone else to replace the war with Israel. Look at all the middle east and north africa - carnage in all
By:

ebulGery - I don't think it is as easy as saying the land belongs to Palestinians. It is the homeland of Jews too. The latter emigration from European Jews aside (Zionism) there were hundreds of thousands of Jews forced out of their native lands all over North Africa and the Middle East. Obviously the British Mandate for Palestine was a far from perfect way forward for the area to put it mildly. Let's not forget though that Palestinians have had more than one chance to accept a two state solution. I recommend a good readup of the 6 day war too. If that battle had gone the other way you would be looking at a second extermination of the Jews a generation after ww2.

I agree this is far from easy Hank Hill

But I believe once we liberated the area known as Palestine from the Ottoman Empire back in 1918
the land should have been handed over to the people that lived there.
The breakdown was 80% Palestinian Arab, 10% Jewish, 10% Christian.
This makes this a Palestinian Arab country to me.

Instead we stayed and proposed a home for the Jews. But I do not believe we had any right to do this.

I do understand the Jews desire for a homeland, look at how they have been treated everywhere else.
But they had been gone too long to go back.

This land now belongs to the Palestinian Arabs, and why should  they accept a two state solution of their
own country?

I understand the Jews fight for Israel, I do not think they will leave.
But I still back the Palestine cause because their claim to this land takes priority in my opinion.
That is my decision, other people can pick their own side

One other thing I object to, is the lack of neutrality in the West. I believe we should be more neutral.
The Jews can take care of themselves now

I suspect the Palestinian Arabs will finally have to accept reality, and finally give up their fight.

But I still believe in their cause, someone has to.

Personally I think Israel must accept the odd terrorist attack, I do not think it is too much to ask.

Israel retaliations seem to border on war crimes to me.

The West has also destabilised the whole region for Israel, this is too much.

The Palestinians deserve a much better deal here, we must try to diffuse the hatred, which is off the clock at the moment.

Then hopefully the need for Palestinian terrorist attacks will reduce naturally, if we can just make them a bit happier
