High heels thingies -- sold 53,000 this year already -- looks like a good idea -- I'm in.
Remote-controlled lightbulbs -- a cut-down version of apps like hive for central heating, I suppose. I guess this is what Peter was saying, but I reckon there is a big market for the cheaper but less comprehensive app. Yes, he can't take on Philips but he probably doesn't have to. |

Leggings -- I'm out.
High vis horsey kit -- not really sure why she needed a dragon -- so it's a fair investment -- so I'm in. Sandwich boards -- too much talk about ethics so it was not really clear what the investment was. Photo booths -- embarrassing they did not know Peter Jones owned one of their main competitors (Jessops). Surely the downside is servicing: if they need staff to refill paper, chemicals and so on, then presumably there will be a scale problem when they are no longer small enough to do it themselves but not big enough to justify a whole team of agents. Maybe it will be like printers: send out a pack for the venue to do it. I'm out. Three dragons though, and they went for the one wanting the highest stake. |
