I kill trillions of the little blighters every time I bake bread. They've had a good life though as they had a free range existence during the previous 2 hours with plenty of food and warmth.
Could use baking powder instead of yeast but it doesn't taste anywhere like as nice.

Iceland are doing a frozen, cook at home section in their stores. Tried a Corn Bread tonight which was quite delicious.

I've switched from thick to medium sliced bread on the theory it'll be less calories per sandwich, so I can fit into my favourite mankini this summer.

I like the batch/farmhouse/seeded breads.
Thinking about it, I can't really remember seeing thin sliced bread, maybe I just don't look hard enough?
