"Actor and television presenter Stephen Fry has married his partner Elliott Spencer, he has revealed.
The 57-year-old QI host posted a picture for his 8.5 million Twitter followers this afternoon, showing him and the 27-year-old signing a marriage register.
With the picture Stephen tweeted: "Gosh. @ElliottGSpencer and I go into a room as two people, sign a book and leave as one. Amazing."
The wedding comes 11 days after it was revealed that the couple planned to marry.
On the paperwork, Stephen gave his occupation as "actor" while Elliott was listed as a writer."
A writer (?)
Fry looks older than he is and the writer looks a lot younger, which exaggerates the age difference.

Good luck to em. Fry hasn't had a happy life from what I can tell battling depression and if this brings him some comfort and the young fella is happy I wish them all the best.
A couple of photos when first released were uncomfortable .. and in my view unwise for Fry's and his partners reputation .. As a straight man it looks too much of a gap .. But i do hope its real and i have always liked him ... he was only saying about drugs what all of them were doing ..
Stephen Fry is a credit to the nation imo, and I hope he gets the happiness he deserves.

I would say Fry is besotted and the young lad is starstruck, and intellectually he is not on the same level as Fry. Would be slightly surprised if they were still together in 2 years time, but good luck to them. No issue with gays, no issue with age difference, but they just look so wrong together.

Though not a fan of anything he's done and never even knew he was on twitter let alone amassing 8 million followers.....I wish him well personally, seems like a sensitive and troubled soul for many a year, for his sake though hope he's not being taken for a ride.

No issue at all with a man marrying a man - as an earlier poster said the age difference and how they look together is what makes it uncomfortable for me.
I hope they get a decent run together - because I fear if the young guy walks out on him it could spell huge trouble for Fry who has had his well documented problems. Might not get through having his heart broken.

If I had the chance of marrying someone younger I would take it, although she would not only have to have a father fetish,
more a grandfather fetish, and as I am not rich......that is but a dream
Always a risk of them straying but that is the chance you take
Still as long as Steven is bringing in the money I doubt he will stray far
