I didn't see it but according to the Radio Times,it should have been Katherine Ryan.
canadian comic...ok,but nowhere near as good as she thinks she is..
Oh I don't know I really like her. She's on a lot of these type shows.
The BBC came up with a rule that there has to be at least one woman on these multi comedian and panel shows, so she's on them a lot now, as she's one of the best, possibly the best female comedians working in the uk?
When I think of the alternatives .. yes definitely one of the best.
She can be funny on pretty much any topic not just the tedious "I'm a woman, lets talk about tampons or how crap men are", I like her.

The key to the panel shows is being quick witted and responding to what is in front of you. The women comedians (and some well-known men, such as John Bishop) who die on panels are the ones who are basically looking for a prompt to go into their act -- and tell trusted jokes they've written and honed. It is a different skill.

Do they come more boring than Ray Mears?
He'd got nothing to say worth listening to.
He wasn't amusing or entertaining in any way, and you could hear his laughing at the other guests jokes all the way through the programme.
He was totally out of his depth on a show like that.

I don't usually find women very funny but Katherine Ryan is funny. Saw her a few months ago on a 'Richard Herring's Leicester Square Theatre Podcast' , worth a watch.
