I'm too embarrassed to give full details but half a dozen is a conservative estimate. I think as I matured I got lust mixed up with love. By sheer chance and the grace of God, (I'm not religious btw) I met Ms stew nearly fourteen years ago. Without doubt we have hade little ups and downs but she unknowingly taught me a touch of humility.

I have only ever told one girl that I loved her. She didn't say it back. I dumped her about 6 months later - then she said it.
I appreciate that that's not actually answering the original question, but different people have different interpretations of what love means. I only know of one for certain, and I never told her. She's married now, but I'd still take a bullet for her without a moment's hesitation. |
