There Alchemy concert was on Sky Arts a couple of days ago.

seen him live at the Ryman auditorium Nashville,great show apart from whooping and hollering americans.
Alchemy version is utter class. I learned the album version of SoS on guitar and then tried to learn the Alchemy version.

One of the greatest tracks of all time, ogwt version takes it to another level.
Just listened to the Alchemy version and as good as it is i still think the OGWT performance is head and shoulders superior.
Just recently made this track my ring tone. Excellent for a live performance, but a guitar teacher I know would slag Knopfler and so many others for left hand thumb use!

I like Sultans of Swing but for me the live version of Telegraph Road can't be beaten. Sensational (the studio version is distinctly average in comparison).
