A-Senior Muslim clerics (preferably Sunni)should have demanded to be taken to the hostage sites to ask/command the gunmen to give up or at least let the hostages go.

(A1-The police/authorities should have invited them to do so anyway.)

B-Even if it is claimed that this ploy had zero chance of success it would have sent out a strong important message that the gunmen were acting in defiance of 'official Islam'.

C-Can anything be read into the fact that senior Muslim religious figures did apparently not make such a gesture ?
All I hear are relatively perfunctory declarations of disassociation.

take as many close family members as you can find and take them to were they are holding the hostages, send them all in and give them 5 minutes to let the hostages go or they all die

I can't recall EVER seeing any "leftie apologists" on the forum at ANY horrific event such as these in France, or 9/11 or 7/7 or Rotherham and the like or murdered hostages or other innocents, or Boko Haram, or ANY others.

Why is there always a "Well, the Guardian/leftie/liberal hand-wringers/etc etc, will find excuses for them"?
This never happens.

I have yet to see anyone ever try to make excuses for these nutters. I have only ever read of utter contempt and complete anger, yet there are these imaginary 'lefties' who some (let's call them Thatcherites and Blamers) must want to find, to light the place up for them.

You want to check out the muslim writers in the guardian today.  Yes they are there. Stuggling to make excuses and pouring cold water on the atrocities committed in the name of allah.

no one ever found guilty of any act terrorism should ever be released.

or anyone found guilty of plotting any act of terror, promoting terrorism, coming back fighting for isis.

And stop listening to the bleeding hearts blabbing on about their rights.

By:

yep applies to any terrorist.

they can even share the same jail and let them fight amongst themselves.

Well why did the GB government let terrorists out of jail and ex terrorists rule in government Confused

When: 10 Jan 15 00:22
why are you comparing the 2? You carnt make an apology for 1 by saying well this is just as bad.

The next time a terrorist has got hostages who has already been arrested for terrorism charges et and been released,  what I would do is swop the hostages for members of families of all the blleedin apologists and then see if they still have the same viewpoint.

None of these extremists should be taken alive. They should be killed on the spot with no mercy.
Sickened me that the two cants that's murdered Lee Rigby were not shot dead at the time.

So many 'human rights' now and they have access to stuff that others can't afford.

Check out a guy called ramadan  check out what he said in 2008 about taking over. His latest was printed in the paper yesterday. But there are several more and they get on TV news and are interviewed. You think they are ordinary muslims but turn out to be journalists with their own political agenda.
