Just found out my daughter knows the Blue Haired Girl....went to the Bonfire Night Trafalgar demo with her.

What beats me is how Vince Cable rose up to become a force in politics purely on his quip about Brown changing from Stalin to Mr Bean.
I've never heard him say anything worth remembering since.
He just trots out the usual political tripe, hoping that he's boring people enough to make them lose concentration and not notice what he's saying.

Remember watching a pre-election debate with him, Osbourne and Balls before the last election. He finished last of three by quite some distance.
