A reveller was caught riding a space hopper through an underpass in the early hours of New Year's Day, police have confirmed.
Officers saw the man trying to bounce his way through the Marketgait dual carriageway underpass in Dundee, which has no pedestrian footpath, at about 3am.
One witness said the man "looked very drunk" as he was chased down the tunnel by officers.
Police Scotland confirmed that the man had been spoken to, but no formal action was taken.
Witness Jamie Shankland told the Evening Telegraph newspaper that the man's reaction was "priceless".

"He was running out from inside the tunnel when police stopped him.
"I had to pass slowly, and as I did I saw another policeman walking up the tunnel to pick up a red space hopper.
"The look on the guy's face was priceless - you could tell he was thinking 'what have I done?'
"God knows where he even got the space hopper from, he must have taken it out with him."

Standard travel in Scotland.
Cheap and ever so friendly to the environment.
Can't see what all the fuss is.

Fair play to him. I can't ride one stone sold sober, let alone when banjoed.
