It started with a sore throat on the 23rd and got worse daily I have spent only 4 hours awake today. This happens to me every year

Had maybe 2 hours sleep each of the last 3 nights. Coughing up phlegm and bits of lung. My diaphragm hurts so much. What really pisses me off is I had a flu jab for the first time this year. You picked the wrong combination of strains, doctors! No bonuses for you!
christmas day i came over shivery so went to bed in the afternoon the same again today although not as bad
Ive had 3 different colds since November.
Went to bed at 7.00 last night with the aches and shivers.
Now my missus has got it and we are going to Portugal tommorrow
Totally peed off.
Would it have helped if id had the flu jab?

You seem to be playing this down somewhat by calling it a christmas cold. It sounds like man flu to me and you have my deepest sympathies.
