I think your all missing the satire in this picture which is if your going to treat all Romanians in a certain way you should not be surprised they might have an odd joke at the expense of those people who label them that way.

Yes it's crazy what some people do, especially in front of a TV cameraman, they just seem to lose all sense of reason.
