Doubt this will trouble many consciences when the hysterical stampede for version 7 and onwards appear

I fell asleep, at my desk, today.  Do it regularly.  And not a small part of it is because I am working too many hours.  Should have stayed until about eleven but left at seven because I was exhausted, will be up at 5:30 for a 6:30 start tomorrow.  No rest for the wicked.

I dont get this apple fascination.  I have an ipad, it is brilliant, but for my sins I just didnt even know there were other decent tablets, I guess I was a slave to the apple marketing machine.  Next time I wiont be so naive.  I have a motorolasmartphone for seven fifty a month.  It is brilliant, free calls, free texts, more free gigabytes than I can eat.  How can an iphone be that much better to justify five times the cost?

Kenny can you not get a massively cheaper phone like my motorola that does the same job?  Mate of mine was mental for apple, always got their latest iphone, has an apple mac etc.  he has changed to another company though.  His reasoning seemed to be that he didnt think the latest one looked good.  Wtf, who cares what it looks like?   No mobile phone actually looks good imo,

I probably could rob, but I need the best for my business. Yes I am a bit sad working at my age. "Which Online" rated it higher than any other smartphone and they thoroughly tested plenty. Last year the IPhone 5s was top of their list.

Always watch it rob, makes me realise my fading flu is but nothing.

I thought your business was making a few quid a day on here.  If so what does the iphone offer that one for a fraction of the prjce deliver?  I may be wrong, defo not a mobile phone expert, but I was v surprised at how good my cheapo motorola is.

Yes it is, but becoming more difficult so may have to visit shops. I will see how Motorola are rated. Cheers for that.

I am no expert, but there have been threads on it.  Ask yourself what an iphone will give you that a similar phone wont give you for a quarter the price, then ask yourself if you need those extra functions,  no point just throwing money at the problem.

Apple corporation have earned a popularity level on a par with Islami State in my household after that expose.

Probably not, but when evidence is gathered about them, be interesting to see if the response is as cowardly and arrogant as the one from apple.

it never fails to amaze me how fickle people are, it's all about marketing, which appeals to thick people who can't make choices for themselves

there's no doubt that Apple products are great quality, but in terms of functionality they don't do anything the other products don't do

having said that I'm considering getting an Apple laptop, I'm just sick of Micro soft and Windows

Bloob...I changed to a Mac 3 years back ....little bit different....took a while to adjust....but glad I did.

they do look very cool I admit , but never been suckered into paying over the odds , looking for a laptop after crimbo & fancy a Dell ultrabook , look just as cool as a mac & better specs

Ibrahima, I don't deny the quality, I say as much in my post, but what you get for the extra money is next to nothing. I'm sick of seeing people that can't really afford it getting an Iphone just to feel like they fit in.

Marketing is such a powerful tool, have you ever drunk a pint of Fosters Lager? it's absolutely the worst beer in the world but people buy it because of marketing

Fair point rb, never had an iphone myself.

Tempted to get a mac but cant justify over 1k on something that will be out of date in 3 years. Not sure about the better specs mc whne comparing, lower spec apple machines run much faster than better spec microsoft machines.

I'm not sure Sonko as I've never seen them run side by side , I know the OS is superior to attacks , but software is generally much superior than 5-10 years ago anyway , so I'd prefer an I7 touchscreen with SDD hard drive for my money tbh
