No bets here dewey. Too busy losing it on handball, the Peruvian fourth division and elevator squash. Had my nuts on World Champ Lifti Shafti but he lost.

I'm not even an F1 fan - but I like to think I'm not entirely 'stupid' Wink

McIlroy even had the advantage of appearing last just before the lines opened and still got beat.  BBC gave him every chanceLaugh

Why on earth do people on here think that Lewis Hamilton was 'not' a worthy contender, in fact, winner?.......beyond me.

Hamilton has one guy to beat every 2 weeks ffs.

Rory has 100 top pros to beat.

It's about who's motivated to vote not who deserves to win.  Hamilton was the 2nd most deserving anyway.  He secured the ride in the Mercedes because of his talent.  No different in that respect to Tony McCoy.  In this country we like to vote for people who sit on their arse.

Zara Philips for instance didn't even have to secure her ride.  Daddy bought the horse for her.  Like buying a Ferrari up against a range of Honda Civics

It lost all credibility when Zara Phillips won. Truly 'amazing' (as she'd gush).

That showed the demographic of the voters.

Mr Eboue - 'Lewis Hamilton won Sports Personality with 209,920 votes, more than 80,000 ahead of runner-up Rory McIlroy. 620,932 votes cast' - 'I' am not in the least surprised at that.
