This anti discrimination law nonsense costs firms a fortune.

Go to factories, offices and buildings anywhere in the country, and their are examples of fittings and expensive alterations to buildings to cater for disabled people, that have never or will ever be used.

of course it does Dr Crippen

it is our compensation culture that is destroying us, it places a huge premium on our businesses we all pay for this

I am sure no one wants dwarfism, but one cannot assume everyone in society is 3 ft tall
this is utterly ludicrousCrazy

Why can she not stand on a box FFS!

If I ran the country, I would ban compensation claims

except in the most serious cases, and before any claim could be made a panel of judges would have to approve the claim

An easier way is to ban no win no fee.

If the no win no fee causes problems for poorer people, I would allow means tested assistance

so nobody makes claims for free, but will be able to afford a claim if necessary, but they must pay something towards it

Should tall shoppers be able to sue supermarkets when shelf stackers are slow, and goods are close to the ground?

My sister fell over about 20 years ago in a supermarket. Somebody had dropped loads of grapes on the floor, and they were quashed and slippery. She came round a corner pushing a trolley and couldn't see then. She trod on them and went over. I know she got a claim out of it, but can't remember how much, and it took quite a while.

Fair play, btf. Life must be a lot easier for you since you have learned to walk upright without your knuckles chafing the ground.
