I'm enjoying this tonight.

It is like they have guaranteed the beeb a laugh every 20 seconds.  And Lee Mack has delivered.  For simple people.  Non stop cr@p one liners.

With the greatest of respect Diva, this is awful.  I have seen bits and pieces of previous episodes and they haven't been quite as bad.  This is diabolical.  The girl in the middle is cracking and that is about the only thing to recommend it.

Friends was much better than this, and friends was average.

Bad. Steroids in an out of control/ stressed to the point of snapping type way.

I thought that was a poor episode, I did laugh a few times but it wasn't as good as some episodes.

I decided to watch it only because of good reviews on here.  Like I say I had watched it before in parts and wasn't impressed.  Thought I would give it another go,  it was proper rubbish.

i thought that was absolutely disgraceful.  wonder if anyone who lost a loved one in 9/11 would find that comedy gold.  also, unbelievable that the bbc would allow that to go out in this day and age. 

what's the backdrop for next weeks offering - lucy has been captured by isis and they're threatening to cut her head off ??

ooh, I don't like it cos someone else might be upset. fgs  ooh someone got murdered on frost. if someone knows a person that was murdered they'll be upset.. I know someone who had a brain hemorrhage while eating cornflakes. and they still show the ads!! ooh how sick

Only saw it once, it was the one where they were on the quiz, Pointless. Thought it was not hilarious, but quite funny.

Friends would have benefited from the inclusion of Bobby Ball imvho

rob , you are right . i'm a big fan of lee mack and love not going out, especially the earlier ones  . the pointless episode was also  very funny . last night's was poor . potential nervous flyer plot ok but got very silly ( in a wrong sort of way ) and possibly one of the worst i've seen . you are also correct about 'lucy' . fabulous.

I think he's just run out of new ideas for the 'situation'

last night's plot was not dissimilar to the ski lift one in an earlier series, he does like to cast the comedy East European female too - masseuse, pregnant lady in the ski lift, air stewardess last night.

Some of the one liners are still pretty good but you can see them coming a mile off.

Having said all that, even the worst episode is light years ahead of the cringeworthy Citizen Khan or the woefully unfunny Mrs. Brown's Boys.

had a rather odd twist to it ala other 'cult' comedy series that threw in a twist at the end.
I guess would be a good way to end it with them getting married

Final episode is on Christmas Eve.
