CMAT - I would love a 6!

I always get more than 6, but I only count the ones where I answer faster than whoever answers on the telly.

Mrs CMAT - Egghead

I'm the OFFICIAN xmas present wrapper in this house as there are loads to do.

Last year I was in the dining room, where the table serves as my workbench, while Mrs CMAT, who generally scores 3 or 4 at most, was in the lounge with the telly. 

I had the volume up louder than normal so that I could hear it.

Mrs CMAT was on a score of about 15 before half way

I shouted out 'You're doing well girl.'  and then walked in without her hearing me and stood behind her.

I then realised the little minx had the subtitles on, and sometimes, when somebody answers immediately, the question and answer come up together

I turned them off and her score went up by just 1 in the second half of the programme.

She has also been known to 'cheat' when the volume is low, and I can't hear what the students are whispering to each other, but she can, which she always denied it at first, bless her

I was tuned in for the first question btw.....did I get the answer?  Did I heck?
