There has been an increase in evil acts attributed to females.
Anyone who was old enough when the crimes of Brady and Hindlay came to light will remember the shock that was expressed because a female was involved.
Same to a lesser extent with the Wests but year on year more and more females have been involved in heinous crimes.

scandanavian_haven, we don't know the facts and given our glorious press, what version we will eventually get. As an ex Londonerof 50 years, like many current Londoners I am acutely aware of the many young African children ritually killed and dumped in the Thames for superstitious ritualistic purposes,

Now if the forgoing is deemed mental illness then the perpetrators should be in an institution for the criminally insane. Past cases have clearly demonstrated that these were premeditated, ritualistic slayings.

Boxing, I would say anyone that partakes in what is best described as sadistic rituals, is insane. That's where they should be, in institutions, where they can be rehabilitated away from their main influences which is usually the man of the family.

The unfortunate thing about London is that there are too many people, so if you suffer from mental health issues, I would imagine that compounds the problem.

As for religion, I honestly believe it's the biggest hoax of all time and it has caused more suffering that not, but agree whether real or not it brings alot of comfort to people in this big bad world.(Nothing a nice cup of tea wont fix thoughHappy)

Hundreds of children 'vanishing'

The discovery of a boy's torso led police to look at missing children
Hundreds of African boys have disappeared from London schools, police investigating the murder of a boy whose torso was left in the Thames have said.
Scotland Yard asked London education authorities how many black boys aged four to seven had vanished from school.

Between July and September 2001, 300 had disappeared, and police fear thousands may go missing annually.

Child welfare experts say the figures hint at the scale of child trafficking, sometimes for labour or benefit fraud.

A previous BBC investigation found some African children were being held by their parents' creditors, so they could claim extra benefits.

'Lost in the system'

The boy found in the River Thames in September 2001 - called Adam by police - is thought to have been the victim of a ritual killing after being brought to London from Nigeria.

Detective Chief Inspector Will O'Reilly said inquiries revealed 300 black boys of a similar age to Adam had not reported back to school in the three months before his death and were "lost into the system".

They are being trafficked, they are being emotionally abused, there are incidences of domestic slavery, there is physical abuse, sexual abuse
Yinka Sunmonu
Author and journalist

Radio 4 report
"It is a large figure - far more than we anticipated when we started this line of inquiry," Mr O'Reilly said.

Of the missing boys, 299 came from Africa and one from the Caribbean.

Despite an international search, police were able to find only two of them, Mr O'Reilly said. Most of those questioned said the children had returned to Africa.

While there is nothing to suggest these children have been murdered, a lack of immigration records makes them almost impossible to trace, police say.

'Underground' problem

Chris Atkinson, policy adviser on child protection for the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children said children needed to be tracked upon arrival in the UK and called for a register of approved private foster carers.

We have quite a large number of parents or families who apparently go missing but actually just move on
Tim Benson
Head teacher

When schoolchildren vanish
The BBC's Angus Stickler says part of the problem lies with the custom in many African communities of placing children with distant relatives.

The government does not currently force adults who take children in these circumstances, known as private fostering, to register. It fears doing so could drive the problem underground.

Felicity Collier, of the British Association for Adoption and Fostering, said the problem was already underground and she called for tighter controls.

But Tim Benson, head teacher at Nelson Primary School in East Ham, London, and a National Association of Head Teachers representative, said most children were probably happily ensconced in another school.

"We have quite a large number of parents or families who apparently go missing but actually just move on and don't know that they have to inform anyone," he said.

Children's register

A spokeswoman for the Department for Education and Skills said she could not comment on details of the investigation but the government was "deeply concerned" about any child missing from education.

Under the 2004 Children's Act - being implemented this year - local authorities are meant to advise people to tell social services if they are caring for a child.

Police and welfare groups hope this will make it easier to track vulnerable children.

Shadow secretary of state for children Theresa May said the Children's Act needed to go further, with a system allowing for prosecution of those who failed to register as carers.

I can only speak for myself but the point I was making is that it is very sad to see a mother take her child's life. It does happen of course and our instinctive reaction is to feel horror and sympathy for the child and wonder if there was a mental health aspect to it because such actions would usually seem out of character for someone who has brought that child into the world.

The issue which may be cultural which I find goes beyond the killing itself is the method. Cutting out the heart is so beyond my comprehension but if it really is a cultural phenomenon which has a home in Africa is this not something we should be discussing? Many things in the past have been waved through in our country in a desire to create multiculturalism. I make no apologies for saying then that we needed to pause and consider this and make no apologies for saying it now. Some aspects of what is acceptable in other cultures I don't want to become part of our culture.

This figure of the disappeared which facts puts up worries me. I didn't think I'd find myself saying it but I find the police reassurances and other explanations from care agencies which seem to me to imply that we probably needn't worry because these kids have gone back to Africa far too reminiscent of the hands off approach which allowed the child abuse by muslim gangs to go unchecked. The fact that they can't actually find these kids doesn't reassure me at all. In fact the opposite.

These are things which I feel the "soft left" and I include much of our social services, local councils and latterly sadly police, in these type of instances and post Macpherson, just haven't wanted to discuss fully and frankly. If it is starting to bite you then good because it might wake you up. It isn't too late to address the issue of multiculturalism. I see nothing wrong with a multiracial society although given the overwhelming number of indiginous whites we need to put that into perspective hen people tell us that there is an inevitability about anything. What I do want addressed is this issue of multiculturalism.

It's a fecking dreadful crime, I couldn't give a tosss how mental the mother is, I and I'm sure others who think similarly to me would like to see unimaginably harsh punishment.
Whatever you feel about the 'soft left' and all the other stuff, you cannot seriously believe ANYONE will say you're being racist because this (or any other) crime was perpetrated by an African. If they did say it, they'd be fecking idiots, not necessarily people of "the left".

I've heard this reported on BBC news (radio) as 'a death of a child'. The community were reported to be in shock but no other details were being released except to say the mother was being questioned.

It is utterly ridiculous to suggest that the BBC or any other part of the media will hide the reporting of this case on the basis of where the people are from.

Study - it's not 'poor reporting' by the Beeb or Sky.

It's a clearly defined liberal agenda not to say anything remotely negative about certain parts of society.

The riots in America we're told are because 'a white policeman shot a black man'. These are the words the BBC have used time and again. A clear assumption that there has been racism against a member of the black community.

No condemnation of the rioters and no awareness that to label the white policeman as potentially racist is in fact racist because it assumes he fired his weapon based on the colour of a person's skin!

At no point have we ever heard the BBC or others in mainstream media push the case for black on white crime or to overtly challenge the damaging and downright destructive affect some communities are having on this country.

I have no doubt that there are some complete fukcing morons and idealist ex-students with no idea about what living in "multicultural places" is really like, being responsible for putting a slant on everything and using positive discrimination - which is still discrimination.
I have seen, and been the victim of, stupid diversity rules which favour no-one really.

The unfortunate thing about London is that there are too many people, so if you suffer from mental health issues, I would imagine that compounds the problem.

If you had read my very long post on the politics forum, you'd have seen how many 'insane' people live in the forum's favourite London Borough, Newham.

Let them in and accept their culture, that's what Blair and Brown wanted.

And also how all hospitals In Newham have been closed down since the 1970s, to be replaced with just one monstrosity for 310,000 people, with just one exception, East Ham Memorial Hospital.

It used to be a general hospital with an A&E dept, it's now a 'nuthouse' and every bed is spoken for.

Fact seems shocked that 300 African boys have gone missing. It just shows what some of you know about life in London, which isn't much.

10 years ago the body of a black child was found in the bushes just outside the gates of the cemetery in Grange Road in Plaistow. The story goes that a council road sweeper saw something glistening in the sunlight and went to look, it was allegedly blood.

My barber told me, his shop was two doors from the gates. It was cordoned off for a while and costing him business as that was where most people parked.

To the best of my memory it never appeared in the local rag, The Newham Recorder, it never got on to BBC news, and there was definitely no black and yellow 'Incident - Help Required' board put outside the cemetery gates by the police.

10 years ago the body of a black child was found. It then fades into 'if', 'maybe' and 'the story goes'.
But then you say that there was no further action on the matter. It is not so unusual for women/girls to hide a pregnancy...even to the point of hiding a birth. That could well have been the end of the story. It doesn't have to be, and probably wasn't, some sort of ritualistic event.
Report call me a taxi December 8, 2014 3:14 PM GMT
You miss the point.

Because of my record on here, if I had said that I actually saw the 'commotion', the road sweeper and the blood, I'd be called a liar and a racist because the child was black, as it never made the local press.

I never saw the cordoning off as I was at work, my barber saw it. He had no reason to lie.

But I did pass the cemetery at least twice a day and there was definitely no 'Police Incident' board outside. I have no idea why  not.

Perhaps it was run of the mill news that month.

I'd guess that was about the same time that an older African boy was drowned in a bath on Christmas Day in Newham, for having 'witchcraft' in him, but that case made the papers.

As for the murdered African boy in Scotland, I couldn't find it on the Guardian website, but they do have another whole page devoted to knocking Farage, which must please their readers a lot.

If I can address this in reverse I'd say it has quite a lot to do with this thread because not only does it seem as if there is a virtual voluntary D Notice on a lot of these cases but both this one and those go to the heart of the question of multiculturalism. Different cultures do things differently. In relation to your second point I haven't said that you are defending it. What I am saying is that people like you seem determined not to discuss it or the wider cultural implications. Finally in relation to your first point I'm not clear what your "this" relates to. Everyone without exception, as far as I can tell, is appalled by this, despite your assertion that they would merely be accusing 'you' of being racist.

But everything in your world is either very good, or the left.
As for "people like me" being determined blah blah etc etc,. People like me have better things to do with their free time than to do pointless battle with you.

No they mustn't Moisty. That's the point. Morally they must but they have no morals so all you will hear is a big fat nothing. Multiculturalism means allowing for things which we may find abhorrent because expressing outrage is a form of cultural imperialism and so the issues don't get reported on and don't get discussed and the glorious mutliculturalist bandwagon rolls on.

Multiracial? If we must. Multicultural? No.

I suppose the multiculturalists all use a room off of the main hall in the Leftie Centre.

I'm assuming I'm considered now, to be a 'multiculturist' as well as a leftie. Though I have, am not, and have never claimed to be either.

FYI EO - I'm not affiliated to any political group or ideal, I just loathe the Conservatives.
As for being a multiculturist..... I don't even know what that means.

I will reiterate however that this thread, as far as I and most rightly indignant people are concerned, is about the abhorrent crime perpetrated upon a young child and I couldn't give a flying fluck if the woman involved was from Mars. The cultural aspect, as you quaintly put it, is as far as I am concerned, of no consequence. I would be as appalled, as would most people, whatever the ethnicity of those involved.

You really need to stop looking at everything as a political discussion or a reason to chuck a few "left and lefties" about.

You'll have to excuse my tremulous state studyform. You see outside of an episode of Tales Of The Unexpected where Suzanne Daniel got her truppenies out I wasn't aware cutting out someone's heart was something which went on in this country. Now I find it does. Like I said I find it very sad that any mother would kill their child but to cut out their heart?

Then as Taxi points out we find it isn't a newsworthy event. That's incredibly puzzling.

Not interested in the politics, to me the main point of the story shows just how horrific women can be.

So many reported cases just lately of women killing their children.

Yet they are the 'fairer sex'.

As if.
Horrible creatures.

I agree with you Tommy Toes
there has been an alarming increase in the number of women killing their own children
you see no loving mother, could do this to her child

Not all females do this thank God, I am sure those on here are all loving mothers
most are

But this problem is being deliberately hidden, because men get the blame for everything in todays society

And for at least the 100th time, neither do I.

It was on the BBC television news pages, where I get all my news from, then venture on to the internet, as it's the BBC, to see what hasn't been reported about it.

Like the 'rape' or 'serious sexual assault' (take your pick) in Tower Hamlets over the weekend. The BBC made no mention of the rapists ethnicity, given the area, it was well odds-on that he was black or asian. Other inline reports stated he was black.

The Alva case wasn't a 'murder' on the BBC, it was a 'death'. No mention of how the child died. No mention of the mother, while ALL other news sources at the time said she was African and he had his heart cut out.

This was after my first post on page 1.

It was removed from Main Headlines after about 4 hours and tagged on to the 'Tay and Central' regional news page in Scotland.

It stayed on there for about  hours and was then removed altogether.

The antics of Nigel Farage and his crew are much more important to the BBC agenda of slagging UKIP off, he has had different 3 stories in 3 days on the BBC, which not only got on the Main News page, but also got scattered over various regional news pages as well for good measure.

While a 'witchcraft' murder gets hardly any coverage by the BBC, and none at all by The Guardian.

Of course not.

Who could have conceivably imagined, even 10 years ago, that we'd apparently be living in a country where the media and politicians are evidently sufficiently relaxed about this monstrous crime to give it so little spotlight?

For my money it's a far greater atrocity than several other tragic cases which have been given saturation press coverage in recent years. The names Bulger, McCann and 'Baby P' string to mind.

What on earth is going on ?

A man who dragged a woman to an area next to derelict pub and raped her after she got off a night bus in east London is wanted by the police.

The woman was walking on Duff Street, Tower Hamlets, at about 04:25 GMT on Thursday after getting off the N15 bus following a night out with friends.

The Met said she was grabbed from behind and dragged to a waste ground next to the former African Queen pub.

The man then sexually assaulted her before stealing her money.

Her calls for help were heard by some residents and police were called but the man had already run off towards East India Dock Road when officers arrived.

'Brazenly ignored warnings'
The suspect is described as a black man in his 20s who was wearing a hooded top.

The victim, who is also in her 20s, is receiving support from trained officers.

Det Sgt Ian Valentine said: "This was a particularly violent attack, with the suspect brazenly ignoring warnings from local residents that police were being called and continuing with the assault.

"Thankfully incidents of this nature are extremely rare and we are conducting numerous inquiries to trace the suspect.

"Extra patrols have also been put in place in the area to provide reassurance."

Anyone with information is being urged to contact police.

They should have a regional crime only news programme for 4 different areas for 15 minutes each every Friday night.

WEEK 1

Programme 1 from Chester

Programme 2 from Ascot

Programme 3 from Tower Hamlets

Programme 4 from Newham

Compare 1 and 2 with 3 or 4 and see the differences.

I don't buy newspapers, so the news is sitting there ready to pick over. I don't have to wait for a news iten to ocme up, I can choose any region I like, but I read them all, every day.

When I find something I wish to know more about, I then go on the internet.

There are more houses with televisions than there are with computers. So more people see the news rather than surf for news.

It they don't read it on telly or surf for news, they probably  buy newspapers.

The BBC don't print newspapers.
