for me...and this is a tricky one...I edge towards the classic where Hutch gets the flu bad and Starsky whizzes around all over town trying to find a cure for his buddy

Was about to say the same episode - Starsky gets virus - more like ebola than flu I seem to remember.
First season was the best, esp the theme tune. Absolute classic, but they changed it to that funky version that everybody remembers now. Original tune the best for me. |

I agree about the tune, funky sort of suits the times, but the strings/horns one was better with the fuzzier bass guitar.
