Canny - do you have a recycling box for oddments ?  then take it in one swoop to the centre maybe ?  they take anything there ,but not radioactive waste according to the signs.

Coach', I have one re-cycling bin, with 2 sections. One is for cans, bottles, jars, food cans, aerosols foil etc. The other is for paper, cardboard catalogues etc.
