There's a difference between someone who has multiple accounts so they can laugh at their own jokes and back themself up, and someone wo has had multiple accounts because one after the other, they get banned. I have only ever known one person, albeit with many names, bang on about Newham.

Yes, their is only one 'Call Me a Taxi'. By that, I mean that he doesn't seem to post under any other name. He may have done so in the past perhaps by necessity, maybe by design, but I think CMAT's tightly focussed views would be a dead give-away if he tried to assume another persona.
'Call Me' is a one-off and, with his interests, views and general demeanour and for that, we should be grateful. |

cmat could call himself the Dalai Lama, Letitia Dean or Oscar Wilde and I'd spot him in a nano second. We all have our own way of writing and thought process which is not difficult to recognise. The Newham mentions are always a help though to be fair.

I was interested to find out why callmeataxi had such strong views on immigration as he has lots of views on other things we would agree on. He kindly took the time to write me a long reply and I have to say I can see things from his point of view. He is not against immigration because he dislikes foreigners or people of different colours. He give lots of reasons why he has evolved his opinion on immigration over many years by the things which have happened in the place he comes from.
On the specific and sole issue of immigration I think the reason why ukip are attracting so many supporters is that on the whole when the people asking for their votes talk they do so with authenticity and a belief in what they are saying whether their views are wrong or wrong. When politicians from the other main parties talk they don't speak with the same beliefs. They will say anything at times. I think when ukip have to talk about other issues their supporters will not be so united in the way they are about immigration. |
