Obviously not everyone, but let's be honest, most people would have preferred the other Briton, people don;t have a habit of admitting they are racist so you have to read between the lines, I don;t know you so what do I know, but if you think everyone that dislikes hamilton is because of his personality than imo you are mistaken,

In 2009 i remember Hamilton getting disproportionately more coverage than Button despite Button winning the title. I think this was because the general view was, rightly imo, that Lewis was a better driver. Hamilton isnt actually that popular because of his tax status and the fact that he just isnt very interesting. SH just digging his heels in or being controversial for the sake of it.

No it's not stupid, there are many people that dislike him because he is black, that's not an opinion it's fact, people come up with all sorts of pathetic reasons to dislike him including living in moanco and not paying tax, where button also lives.

Rob, you've said a couple of times that you think a man whose had a stroke should not be on tv, even though he is more than capable of doing his job properly, you don't want him on tv because a man who shows visible signs of that stroke makes you feel uncomfortable, in your own words "it's embarrassing" - I think that say enough about your mentality

Just saying he doesn't do it for me. Guess we get fussy what with all the coverage these days. Who 'did' it for me..? Frank Bruno did Alonso doesn't Monty Panesar does Jensen Button does Mo Farah doesn't Ahhh, Sir Viv certainly did....(as did most of the 1976 West Indies side)  |

It just seems like pure jealousy to me, if you earned 20 million a year, why would you want almost half of that to be taken away so it can be spunked and frittered away b a government that he probably didnn;t vote for on a stupid unwinnable war they again he never voted for, and more to the point, if you were young, rich and successful, why in the world would you stay in a cold, grey skied country that pisses down most of the year? when you can live it up in monte carlo? This is the last country in the world Id want to pay tax to too, given how much it wastes and gives away in foreign aid to corrupt governments. |

Perhaps Button is a more likeable character.
The audio when he was going "Nico hit me, Nico hit me" like a three year old who was grassing up his big sister is one of the funniest clips this year. Summed him up, never his fault when anything went wrong although he did ease up on blaming the team a bit towards the end of the season... when he started winning surprisingly. |
