How many do you get on a Saturday night? Used to be 250 every week here, 4 or 5 now.

I used to love our local clubs when I was a kid. One of them was just like the Wheeltappers and Shunters complete with concert secretary, and a hot pie cupboard on the bar. Sadly many closed after the demise of the pits. Still go to a local one now and then but the smoking ban really did for it, can still get a pint of Pedigree there for £2.50. Also noticed that the quality of the turns has gone down, but if they are not getting the income they have to have what can be afforded.
