A zookeeper has been taken to hospital after being found with serious injuries in a enclosure following an "incident involving a rhino".
The man, in his 50s, was taken to hospital from ZSL Whipsnade Zoo, in Bedfordshire, at about 09:30 GMT.
The keeper was found by colleagues in water at the zoo at about 08:15, a zoo spokeswoman said.
A spokesman for Magpas Helimedix Air Ambulance said the man had suffered "serious injuries".
